I absolutely loved The Ritual so I was so excited to read Sabotage！ Shantel did not disappoint。 The spice was immaculate and the plot kept me reading to see what would happen next。 If you have no triggers， I definitely recommend going in blind。

This is a dark romance。 There are definitely triggers in this book。 If you don’t have any， then skip that page and dive in like I did。 If you do have triggers， make sure you check them before continuing！ I loved tension， the angst， and the overall story/plot of this story。 I couldn’t have asked for a better story about Colton and Raylee。 Definitely recommend！！

This isn’t an easy book to read so don’t take lightly the trigger warnings from the author at the beginning – she means every word。 Raylee and Colton are step siblings that have a HATE/love， Dark relationship and that’s a definite emphasis on the hate and dark part。 They are each other’s own personal brand of kryptonite and their relationship has been that way since they met when they were sixteen until it all comes to a climactic head when Colt crosses the line。 If I’m being completely honest This isn’t an easy book to read so don’t take lightly the trigger warnings from the author at the beginning – she means every word。 Raylee and Colton are step siblings that have a HATE/love， Dark relationship and that’s a definite emphasis on the hate and dark part。 They are each other’s own personal brand of kryptonite and their relationship has been that way since they met when they were sixteen until it all comes to a climactic head when Colt crosses the line。 If I’m being completely honest I’m not a huge fan of the whole humiliation scenario in a book especially when its being used to inflict hurt instead of being part of a scene。 To me Colton uses it as a weapon just because Raylee likes sex as much as he does but somehow this story still managed to draw me in and I ended up cheering for them probably because， despite neither of them being particularly likeable characters， I enjoyed Raylee’s strength and fieriness and the fact that she gives as good as she gets and by the time I finished Sabotage there was no doubting Colton’s devotion to her， warped and twisted it may be。 I would have liked more just to see how their relationship developed once everything was out in the open but maybe we haven’t heard the last of them。 。。。more
